How did our scientists know exactly what the layers of the Earth, including the center, are made from given that humans are not able to dig to the core?

Answer:

Scientists, especially geologists and seismologists, have developed seismometers that make recordings of the motion of the Earth during an earthquake. The way the Earth “waves” at each device and the time when the “wave” arrives give them an insight into how the wave propagated.
